Drinking On A School Day

Good morning, it's Sue here, happy Tuesday! I hope you're enjoying our 'squares' challenge. You know when you have an idea in your head and everything just comes together? - well this wasn't one of those. I had no idea from one stage to the next where I was going with this piece.

If you would like to pop over to my blog there are lots more pictures showing how it finally came together. Take care and have a fun day whatever you are doing x

January 2021 - Squares

Welcome to our first challenge of 2021 chosen by the Lovely Corrie

 Hello everyone!

Happy NewYear ! and welcome to the blog where I will be hosting January's Challenge. I have chosen the theme of 'using one of more squares on your project'. So use square(s) in your background, in the foreground or any other way you can think of. I have made a simple birthday card:

As always there is a VIDEO if you'd like to see how I made this. You can also go via my BLOG

I will be back in a few days with another inspiration project!

Corrie xx

Happy New Year to you all.  I hope you had a great festive season.  Here is my first project for the year:

Jane

Happy new year all! Welcome to 2021 and a brand new year of CVC challenges. I made a sparkly new year card as we look forward to a year when life hopefully will return to some kind of normality.

As my Visible Image sentiment says...the greatest adventure is what lies ahead. Let's hold on to that and hope that it comes true in 2021. If you would like to see how I made this and see some close ups of the "time" distress ink background just pop on over to my blog here where a warm welcome awaits.
Bye for now,
Jane x

Guest Designer Sue

Hi, I’m Sue, married with two grown up children and three lovely grand-daughters. I have been crafting since I was a teenager and have been a knitter and dressmaker, have done patchwork, embroidery and applique wall hangings among other things. Since 2007 I have made cards, starting with iris folding and going on from there.  I love learning new techniques. About 18 months ago I learnt how to weave yarn flowers from knitting wool and find it really relaxing. For just over a year I have been blogging about this hobby, which has been great fun, but quite demanding, coming up with a new project to make every week.

To me, decorating for Christmas means sparkle and shine, tinsel and baubles, red and gold, so I decorated a simple polystyrene cone to make an over the top Christmas tree. Tinsel yarn is so much fun for weaving flowers.

Wow, Thank You Sue. It's a lovely Christmassy Project and I recommend others having a peek at your blog to see some of your other beautiful creations and how you created this fantastic tree.
