Country View Crafts are delighted to announce the opening of their new challenge site, Country View Challenges. We will be holding monthly challenges under the auspices of our talented design team with a £20 shop voucher, winner's button and guest DT spot for our one lucky winner (chosen at random). The Design Team (DT) will be taking turns at choosing their 3 favourites each month who will each receive a button of merit.
If that isn't enough, to celebrate the launch we are also offering a further special prize to promote the site so to learn more about it click HERE.
So, without more ado, let's announce this month's challenge which is:
'Pick and mix'
Yes, anything goes this month! We have Mothers' Day (UK) on March 10th, Easter at the end of the month and Spring around the corner so you PICK what you want to do and you can MIX your colours as you like because anything goes.
Here are some beautiful examples from our Design Team...
"With the new challenge blog in mind I've made a domino book that focuses on creating, making and learning."
"A tag from my 'Classics' trio... I love the vintage and distressed style and when I layer it makes things so much more interesting. I thought this would be a good example of our 'Pick and mix' challenge this month."
"A little hanging using Tim’s on the edge dies, Wendy’s Art Parts and stamps. The background was inked with Wild Honey Distress Stain which is just the most fabulous colour with Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Markers on the flower."
"I love the distress palette and love the wonderful new addition of the distress paints , allowing the ability to play with paints and inks in coordinating colours that I love , create layers and add lots of water!"

ReplyDeleteStill can't upload a picture from my blog url, have to upload from my computer. This is the only challenge where I have this problem so I think something is going wrong with you Inlinks. I can see from other comments that I'm not alone

Been trying to upload photos from my blog,but its not uploading my pictures:( Have done it step by step so tried doing it from my picture folder, but it said its too big:( and I am not clever enough to make the jpg smaller can anybody help me? I must be having a BRAIN FREEZE...

DeleteSeen your post about resize problem.If you have windows
7.Go to pictures select imnage and click on it,click on edit,organise or share.Click on edit ten click on resize(column 3 item 2)Resize confirm done .This will give second image in pictures which you can selct and download.
