March 2018 - Postcards (6x4)

Welcome everyone to our March Challenge.
Our theme this month is "Postcards" sized 6"x4", chosen by the lovely Sue

Good morning and happy Thursday. I'm really happy to be hosting this months challenge, and I've chosen a nice easy one for you - Postcards (6x4).
I was recently lucky enough to attend the Stitches trade show at the NEC, and I took a class with the lovely Raquel (Scrapcosy) She taught us loads of fab techniques and she and Leandra are more than happy for us to pass them on (though not as well as she did I'm afraid) There are more photo's over on my blog along with a link to Raquel's YouTube channel, so I would love to see you over there xx

Happy St. David's Day.

What a great topic for this month's challenge.
Here is my first project for the month

Join me over on my blog  to see how I created this project.
Happy Crafting

Hello all, first of March already and Spring is just around the corner ........ I hope.
So I made a colorful postcard, may be I can attract spring!

I made a little process video, if you like, enjoy watching!
Thank you!

I remember when 6"x4"(A6) was the ONLY size card I made... A great classic that I'm glad to re- visit with you today.

Come by my blog to see how I made this classic card with a classic motif!

I love creating postcards - they are such a fun size to work on, and are wonderful for sending out as happy mail!
Here I used a colourful gelli print as the background to my funky project:

I wonder if March will be in like a lion or a lamb...whatever it decides it is wonderful to welcome in the new month today with the promise of spring. For the fun new postcard challenge I made this very spring-like one.
However I did something different to my postcard afterwards...if you would like to find out what and also see how I made it just spring hop on over to my blog here . I will give you a clue...it involves photo corners 😂
Happy March and happy nearly spring,
Bye for now,

Beautiful inspiration from the DT and fun theme. So... does it have to be a no fold card or is it OK to make a normal card as long as it's 6 x 4?? Hugz

Hi ionabunny, normally it would be an unfold card, but as long as you make it the right size, I think we will turn a blind eye ;-).
Hope to see your work soon!
