Guest Designer Sue

Hi, I’m Sue, married with two grown up children and three lovely grand-daughters. I have been crafting since I was a teenager and have been a knitter and dressmaker, have done patchwork, embroidery and applique wall hangings among other things. Since 2007 I have made cards, starting with iris folding and going on from there.  I love learning new techniques. About 18 months ago I learnt how to weave yarn flowers from knitting wool and find it really relaxing. For just over a year I have been blogging about this hobby, which has been great fun, but quite demanding, coming up with a new project to make every week.

To me, decorating for Christmas means sparkle and shine, tinsel and baubles, red and gold, so I decorated a simple polystyrene cone to make an over the top Christmas tree. Tinsel yarn is so much fun for weaving flowers.

Wow, Thank You Sue. It's a lovely Christmassy Project and I recommend others having a peek at your blog to see some of your other beautiful creations and how you created this fantastic tree.
