Hello crafters, my inspiration for you today is based on the opposites on the colour wheel, yellow and purple, it is one of the techniques that ensures visual impact in your makes.

I hope it will brighten your day and, as usual, you can read all the details on my blog.

Guest Designer Post - Jo from Let's Art Journal

Today we welcome our February winner Jo from Let's Art Journal

Hello Everyone, I’m so pleased and honoured to be here at Country View Challenges as Guest Designer for their Opposites challenge this month.

My name is Jo and I blog at Let’s Art Journal. I live by the sea in the North West of England with my hubby. I started Art Journaling in 2015 as a way of expressing my life through words and pictures and it has now become a passion of mine which I like to share with others. I’m captivated by the variety of techniques and materials that can be used to create so many different styles of art. I love nothing better than to experiment with different techniques and products, get creative, put my ideas into practice and have lots of fun doing so!

This month’s Opposites challenge inspired me to create an art journal page which features Colour versus Black & White. You can find full details of how I created this page and the materials that I used at my blog here.

Thanks so much for having me as Guest Designer. I hope that you are inspired by this month’s challenge too and are able to join in the fun!

Thank you. Jo x
Thank you Jo a Gorgeous project for our Opposites Challenge. If you want to see more why not pop over to her blog and don't forget there is still plenty of time to join in with our Challenge x

Yes it appears that my Visible Image stamps tin man from the Oz series has a little friend and also that his oil tin and hearts have shrunk too...ooops!
If you would like to see how I made this just pop over to my blog here and all will be revealed. No smoke and mirrors I promise 😉

May 2019 - Opposites

Welcome everyone to our May Challenge
Our theme this month is Opposites, chosen by the lovely Teresa. We love you taking part in our challenges so this month, don't forget Opposites must be part of your projects to be in with a chance to win a £20 Gift Voucher.

Hello and welcome to a new challenge! Teresa here and this month I have chosen the theme of Opposites. Here is my Past and Future card:

Please pop over to my blog for more details. I look forward to seeing what you think up for this challenge.
Happy May to you all.
Here is my first project for the Opposites challenge

I have chosen light and dark for the first set of opposites!
Pop over to my blog for more information and to see how I created this card.

May is here and it's time for the temperatures to rise and me to get out to work in my garden and my outside studio again..bliss. My opposites for the new challenge for this month are the words visible/invisible.
I used the Visible Image (no pun intended) Cheshire cat stamp set from the Wonderland series.
My cat appears to have been joined by 2 invisible friends 😁 If you would like to see how I made my card just say the magic words.. "We're all mad here" (as said by the Cheshire cat to Alice).....and you will be transported over to my blog here.
Bye for now,

Sue
Good morning and a very happy May, Summer is now on it's way! Here is my first piece for our new 'Opposites' challenge, a page for my tag book.

In case you can't tell my opposites are 'colour' and 'black and white'. I remember very well getting our first colour TV as a child. The case was the size of a small planet and the actual screen was tiny by todays standards but we though it was amazing! There are more photo's here over on my blog.
Have a wonderful May, and thanks very much for looking x

Hello and welcome to May!
The theme this month is a very interesting one I find and I decided to choose "matte and glossy" as my opposites.
I made two couples of ATCs, here you can see one of them:

If you want to see the other one, please hop to my blog. There you will find a short video, which shows you the glossy effect of the silhouettes a bit better.
I´m curious, what opposites you will show us!

Corrie
