Welcome everyone to our April Challenge.

Our theme this month is Animal Magic, chosen by the lovely Corrie. We love you taking part in our challenges so this month, don't forget Animal Magic must be included in your projects to be in with a chance to win a £20 Gift Voucher.

Hello everyone,

I am happy to be hosting the challenge this month ! I have chosen the theme 'Animal Magic' and that means I want to see an animal, real or fantasy, as a focal point on your project !
For my first inspiration piece I have made an art journal spread and of course there is a video too.

If you would like to see how I made this, please hop over to my YouTube Channel HERE.

I think you do agree with me that the Easter bunnies are magical.
They not just paint eggs but bring gifts for the kids
and they are so cute.

It's a covid 19 birthday for me today, yes seriously not only is it the first of the month but my special day. During this turbulent time I have been making cards to send to friends and family so the animal theme for our challenge was perfect. I think everyone, young or old loves an animal card, don't they.
If you would like to see how my owl took to the skies do fly pop on over to my blog here where all is revealed. I might even share a slice of virtual birthday cake 😁
Take care, stay safe, stay at home and carry on crafting,
Bye for now,

Happy April,
I was really excited when this topic was announced as it meant that I could use the new PaperArtsy Hot Picks stamps which I adore!  Here is my first project for the month.

Take care and have a great April x

February Challenge Winner, Top 3

Hello everybody!  It's time to announce the February Challenge Winner.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  So here is the winner of our Challenge and Teresa's Top Three.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!
February Splatters, Splashes & Drips winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is..

It was lovely to see so many wonderful interpretations of my Splatters, Splashes and Drips theme for February's challenge. As always, it was difficult to pick just three favourites!! But, it had to be done, and here (in no particular order) are my Top 3:

Lots of wonderful texture and layers on this piece, and the white splatters really lift it. Well done!!

This piece made me smile!! I love the detailed walk-through and all the inky layering. Great job!!

Love the contrast of the inky background with the precise astronomical imagery. A very striking page. Love it!!

Thanks to everybody who entered, it's been a pleasure looking at all your artwork xx
Fantastic work all around!  Congratulations - your badges will be on their way soon, and we hope you'll display them with pride.
