July 2018 - In The Summer Garden

Welcome everyone to our July Challenge
Our theme this month is In The Summer Garden chosen by the lovely Jane

Hello July 1st! I am delighted that it is my turn to host the challenge here at Country View this month. To me July is all about enjoying my tiny but gorgeous garden at its very best. So the theme I have chosen is "In the summer garden". My first project is a very 3D floral card.
I have a step by step of my card plus lots of summer garden photos for you over on my blog here . I hope it will give you lots of inspiration and ideas for how you can join in this month. Do pop on over where a very sunny welcome await you. I am really looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects and even if I can't comment on everyone's entries I will be visiting every single one.
Bye for now,

Corrie
Hi everyone,

For today's new challenge I have made an art journal page.

I filmed the process if you'd like to know how I made this.

Or you can hop over to my blog HERE
I'll be back soon ! Corrie xx

Good morning and welcome to our new challenge. I must admit that I do love our garden, but gardening - not so much. Luckily I'm married to Neil who's one of those 'has to be busy' people, so I let him do my share - it's my gift to him lol. Here's my take on our challenge.
I'm not really a fan of giant flies, their sole purpose in life is just to annoy me, but it seems that if we want Summer we have to have flies. There are lots more photo's here on my blog. Have a lovely July, and I'll see you later in the month with my second piece x

Hello there! What a lovely theme - I had so many possibilities but decided to go with some fabulous hydrangeas...I have some in my garden!!! What will you choose??? I look forward to seeing your makes! Hugs rachel xx

As you can see, my summer garden is filled with wildflowers.
If you like my canvas or if you like these wildflowers from Tim Holtz, please visit my blog.
Thank you and happy crafting!
With little time and zero knowledge in the way of the art of growing flowers, I am quite happy watching wild vegetation... Here's my interpretation of a summer meadow, which isn't too far off the way my garden actually looks like!

Do come over to my blog to read up on my experiments with Distress Oxides...
Miriam here, showing you my first project for this month's great challenge.  Perfect for this time of year and while the weather is amazing in the UK.

Pop over to my blog to see how I created this project.  Hope you enjoy all of the inspiration from the rest of the team - you're in for an inspiration packed month!

Happy crafting.

Debs

Hello everyone, today I gave a watercolour painting for you inspired by the beautiful Lake District, which is nature’s own garden.
It is full of wild daisies at the moments, in the fields, and verges along with all the meadow wildflowers.
Why not pop on over to my blog where I will tell you more.

Hugsxx

For this months theme I made a little set of ATCoins. Okay, okay, I know - most of the busy creepy  crawlies in our garden we don´t like too much, but they are part of summer and many of them are even useful. For some mor pictures please visit my blog.
If you want to see how I made them, you can watch my video:
