More male birthday card inspiration

Hello it's  Jane here today with my 2nd design team make for our current "Male Birthday card" challenge. I agree that male cards are quite difficult to make and design but this Visible Image "Ride the wind" bike stamp is a really cool image to use, regardless of whether the recipient is a biker or not.

I used a VI stencil with it which also works so well with male cards. Just ride on over to my blog here if you would like to see how it all came together.

You only have 10 days left to enter our March challenge. I hope I might have nudged you to get making and join in? One randomly selected winner will receive a £20 voucher code to spend  on the website too.

Bye for now,

February winners

Hello everybody! Here are our February Winners.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!

The February winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is Number 33

Pat

Now onto our top 3 and special mention

Hi it's Jane here. I was the host for our February "Be sentimental" challenge and had a hard time choosing my top 3 but here we go, and in numerical order.

23 Mathilde

I love the composition and colours of her page and the Tim Holtz paper doll wedding couple look perfect there,

My son (now 34) has always had a thing about giraffes and I must admit so do I. This is a such a lovely card and the sentiment works perfectly.

64 Cathy
Ladybirds are one of my favourite insects. The sentiment on this lovely card really make me smile and it's an awesome stamp. Such a pretty CAS card.

And finally my special mention goes to number 71 Pauline
who made this stunning artist trading card using the gorgeous Visible Image dragonfly dreams stamp. Of course I am very partial to this stamp and also to making artist trading cards, they are such fun! The colours on her make are so beautifully vibrant too.

Fantastic work all around!  Congratulations - please contact Debs on debs@deborahwainwright.com with win or DT  top 3  in  the subject to claim your prizes and badges, by October 31  to be eligible.

Once we have your details your prizes will be winging their way to you and we hope you'll display them with pride.  Don't forget to join us in our March  Challenge.

March 2023 - Birthday card for a man

Welcome to our March Challenge. This month the theme is Birthday Cards for man chosen by our lovely Corrie. We hope you will enjoy joining us in this challenge. Don't forget, by entering your name gets added to the draw to win a £20 gift voucher to spend in the online shop!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the blog where we start a new challenge today! It is also my turn to host. Because it is my birthday this month, I have chosen the theme 'birthday card' but instead of making just any birthday card I want you all to make a BIRTHDAY CARD FOR A MAN! Yes, I know, we all struggle with that one. So to start off the challenge I have made a really easy and quick card just using designer paper and one stamp. Here it is:

If you would like to see how I made this, please have a look at my BLOG
where you will find a step by step photo tutorial.
I will be back soon with another project!

(11th/12th March)
