September 2021 - The Leaves Begin To Fall

 Welcome to our September Challenge. This month the theme is "the leaves begin to fall" chosen by the lovely Jane

  Welcome to September, wow autumn is just around the corner now.  I am delighted to be the host of the brand new challenge. I thought that I would chose, "the leaves begin to fall" as the theme for this month. Autumn is now just around the corner and the leaves take on their autumnal hues and begin to fall.  So I would like to see leaves as a main part of your project, either as the main background, or as the focal. No tiny single leaf in the corner of your make please!

Here is my make, yes those naughty snarky cats are up to mischief again amongst the falling leaves. 

I used both stenciled and die cut leaves for my background. If you would like to see how I put this together just pop on over to my blog here; where all is revealed. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone's makes for the month. Even if I don't have time to comment I will be visiting everyone and I will enjoy seeing the leaves beginning to fall. 

I will  back on Friday with my 2nd make.

When I think of September I think of  darker nights and Autumn.  I love seeing the leaves on the trees changing colour.  The leaves challenge has made me long for cosy nights when there is every excuse to craft!
