Hello everybody! Rachel here today trying to tempt you into joining our challenge this month. I have created a very personal memory piece today that has an autumnal theme aswell as autumnal hues. If you would like to read more about the stamps I used and how I put it together please head over to my blog here.
Good morning! I have chosen the theme of our new challenge to be mixed media and Autumnal hues. Autumn is my favourite time of year and I would love to see you entering anything mixed media in autumnal colours - the topic is not Autumn ...but of course you can do anything based around autumn as long as the colours are right!!!! I do hope you can join us. If you want to know more about how I made my piece please check out my blog here.
Brrrr Autumn has certainly arrived in my part of the word. But this does bring those lovely crisp mornings and beautiful coloured leaves that dogs love to play in, especially this one.
More details can be found here on my blog. Have a wonderful Autumn, and play in those leaves!
Autumn seems to have arrived in my corner of the world very quickly. I’m a real summer gal so the trees changing colour and the cooling weather always comes as quite a shock!
I wanted to make something to celebrate a colleague’s 39 years at my place of work (quite an incredible achievement!) and when I saw the new theme I knew I could combine the two!
I used a variety of yellows, oranges and browns to colour these new Dylusions flowers and arranged them on the tag with a die cut banner. Gabrielle x
For the new Mixed Media challenge set by the lovely Rachel I have an art journal page :
I enjoyed making this and if you'd like to see the process then hop over to my blog HERE or straight to YouTube. I will be back soon with more inspiration !
October and autumn have arrived with a bang...or should I say with a bump in the night? For my mixed media card with autumnal hues I have a clue to what is on its way....
Yes it's the time of the year when things are starting to get a little chilling and mysterious over at my blog. I used several mixed media techniques on my card. If you would like to see my step by step click here where a very spooky warm welcome awaits.
For our October challenge I created an autumnal tag.
Since this challenge is about mixed media, I used inks, acrylic paints, glossy medium, paper, fabric, cork sheet etc. But you can find the whole details over on my blog.
Although I love summer and the warm temperatures, autumn has it´s beautiful sides too. The colors of this season are spectacular. The glowing colors of the trees are wonderful.
I made a vintage card in fitting colors of autumn.
If you want to find out how I made it, please visit my blog.
Gorgeous autumnal projects from our Design Team. So it's over to you now, create your project and link it below with the chance to win a £20 voucher to use on the Country View Crafts website. Thanks to everyone who took up the Metal challenge last month. There are lots of fantastic entries and the winner will be announced soon
For my second project this month on the theme of metal I wanted to make something that could easily be a card or front to an art journal or a variety of other uses! I painted the tag with Snowflake Fresco Paint and added Gathered Twigs Distress Ink through a stencil. Then I added the stamped leaves and then assembled the pieces continuing the metal theme. I like the simplicity of this tag - sometimes it's good to keep it simple - something I should try more often!
Hello all, it´s Evelyn here today, nice to have you here again!
I want to share my altered little note pad with you. I love the industrial, steampunky look of things and of course thinking of steampunk and metal, there must be some gears and cogs!
I made a video of the process, where you can watch the steps of the making of.
There are some days left to join in with our challenge, so I hope to see your work here!
Thank you for your visit today and you are welcome to visit my blog.
Morning everyone Debs here to share my second inspiration for this months theme, given to us by the lovely Miriam. Still managing to resist doing something rusty, (well it's good to challenge ourselves, isn't?) I used metallic paints instead.
Hope you can pop by my blog to see how this card came together
Good morning, it's Sue here and I'm really happy to be sharing my second metal themed piece with you. I've gone back to a forgotten favourite that's been at the bottom of my drawer for far too long - VerDay paint.
I hope this makes you smile more than my grumpy Hipster family. There are more photographs over on my blog so I hope to see you over there. Have a very happy day, and thanks for looking x
