And don't forget there is still time to join us in our September Challenge Trains, Planes and Automobiles
Hello it's Jane here today from Jane's journal with my second "planes, trains and automobiles" inspiration for you for our new September challenge. I got out one of my fun Tim Holtz side orders, the fab Travel die set as I knew it had a plane in it and made a little fleet of 4 Jane's Planes.
This is my card using 3 of them.
If you would like to see what happened to the remaining 1 and find out how I made my card, all the details are over on my blog here. Just fly on over..a warm welcome awaits you.
Our theme this month is Planes, Trains and Automobiles chosen by the lovely Miriam
Welcome to September - which means it's a new challenge on the Challenge site. It was my turn to choose a topic, so I went for Planes, Trains & Automobiles - a topic that often scares a few crafters and pushes them out of their comfort zone - always good to do that!
Here is my project to launch the challenge
Pop over to my blog to see how I created this card. I hope that I inspired you to join in with the challenge this month - don't forget to share your creations with us.
I hope, you are still having a great summer, may be you made some trips or even travels during your holidays. I made a Travel Notebook for my big journey.
If you want to know more, please hop to my blog, you are welcome!
Hello everyone, welcome to the new challenge today. Autumn really is just around the corner now. I dug out the very few Tim Holtz automobile stamps I own and a one of his tiny vintage plane stamps to create my first inspiration card today. I went for a very vintage feel with a classic distress inked and stencilled background.
A step by step is over on my blog here...why don't you drive pop on over where a warm welcome awaits. Let's hope we get an Indian summer with some more warm sunshine before we need to dig out the woolies.
for today's new challenge I have made a postcard. I have used an old Tim Holtz stamp set and 'normal' Distress Inks. I had so much fun! Anyway, we hope you'll join us this month !
I have to admit that this great theme challenged me a bit!! Then I remembered this awesome sentiment stamp from IndigoBlu...
Please pop over to my blog to check out the walk through once you finish looking at the DT projects here!

Hello it's Jane here and we are now halfway through our August Sun, sea and sand challenge. Today I am sharing the page I made to include in my little granddaughter's holiday journal we made together. I shared my own holiday journal I made after our magical Majorcan holiday for my first August CVC inspiration post.
The background is part of a masterboard I made. If you would like to see it and also some pages from inside her journal just put on your sunglasses and pop on over to my blog here. I have lots of photos and a step by step of how I made it.
Enjoy the rest of August, we are loving seeing all your holiday/seaside related makes.

Wow what lovely entries we had in July for the "In the summer garden" challenge I hosted. Thanks to everyone who entered, there were 108 super entries. I have had the hard task of choosing my Top 3. After some deliberation I have come up with the following, in no particular order, just the order entered into the challenge
I am a fan of all styles of crafting and Liz's CAS design really stood out. This is such a cool design and very elegantly presented. Very simple but gorgeous.
Jo entered the challenge a few times, each time with lovely summer garden pages. I chose this one as I am a huge fan of agapanthus and have them in my own garden. Her collage design is beautifully executed, the flowers are from a napkin. Such lovely work.
Felix's little journal is just delightful. You really need to visit her to see this in all its glory. Many elements have been up-cycled too. This was obviously a real labour of love and contains so many gorgeous pages. An English country garden in all its glory and a very worthy special mention. Fabulous work.
As I look through my choices I notice one theme they all have in common...every piece contains butterflies! I must admit with this wonderful weather I have never had so many beautiful butterflies in my own garden. Enjoy the rest of the summer, lots of butterflies and your summer gardens.
Jane x
