March 2021 - Silhouettes

 Welcome to our March Challenge. This month's theme was chosen by the Lovely Rachel . The theme is Silhouettes - to ensure your entry counts, please make your main focus silhouettes

Its my choice of the theme this month and I thought I would go with silhouettes - there are so many different stamps and dies out there that would be perfect for this theme. I just would like you to ensure that whatever you choose to do, the silhouettes are the main focus of your make....

Happy March everyone spring is now just around the corner. Lighter evenings and warmer temperatures are just what we need right now. For my first silhouette make I used my favourite Visible Image unicorn to make a card.

All the details and a step by step, as always, are over on my blog here. Just gallop on over (or do unicorns fly? I will have to ask my granddaughter who is an expert on unicorns 😉) Have a lovely new month ahead, stay safe.

Hello Everyone and Happy March! For this month's challenge, I had fun playing around with Tim Holtz products to create this silhouettes scene. 

 The moon provided a beautiful backdrop silhouetting the trees and adorable deer family by the river; it reminded me of my Grandad's favourite song "Moon River". To see how it all came together and a list of products that I used, please pop over to my blog Let's Art Journal.

Thank you all for taking part in our January Challenge which was all about squares! There were some great entries and I had a tough task choosing the top 3 and special mention. I looked at all the projects again today and here are my choices, top 3 first, in no particular order:

I really like the muted colours on this card and the gingham background makes perfect squares!

Great square focal point and background and I love the colours used. Yellow, blue and greens are my go to shades too!

Signs of nest building

 Good morning it's Jane here today . I have made another "first signs of spring" tag to hopefully inspire you to join our current challenge. There will be lots of nest building going on around here in the next few weeks so I thought I would make a birds' nest tag.
