100 not out for Country View Challenges

Good morning it's Jane here with some more inspiration for our 100th Country View Challenge. I used memories of a fab and fun workshop hosted by Country View and taught by the lovely Tracy Easson as inspiration for my 2nd design team post.

I also wanted to use the gorgeous new salvaged patina distress ink in my make.

If you would like to see how it all came together and hear those mice whispering sweet nothings just scamper over to my blog here where all is revealed.

Bye for now,

June 2021 - 100 Challenges

Welcome to our June Challenge. This month marks our 100th Challenge and we couldn't let that go by without a celebration so we are offering two prizes, the first will be for your projects that fit the theme of 100 taking inspiration from one of the DT makes, such as a colour scheme, technique, design idea, stamp or die motif and of course, 100 (or One Hundred) must be included. Do specify in your post which member of the Design Team's project inspired you.

The second prize will be picked from one of the comments left on the CVC and DT blog posts - don't forget, you can enter as many times as you like so make sure it is a comment that makes our DT happy to make them count

Wow what an exciting challenge this is for June. 100 not out! I joined the team in April 2016 and have made 124 DT makes (2 each month) since then. I have loved every minute and for my first make I have gone back to my first ever post for CVC and used that make for my inspiration.

If you would like to see both my original make from April 2016 and how I made today's one please pop on over to my blog here where a virtual glass of bubbly awaits!

Back soon,

Bye for now,

February, March & April Winners, Top 3 & DTSM

Hello everybody!  It's a very late post to announce the February, March & April Winners.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!

____________
The February winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is

Wow,  everyone certainly rose to my Spring challenge.  And we could tell that there were so many interpretations of the 'Spring' theme.

So, without further delay, here are my top 3 for February:

Darlene

I adore the pop of colour on Darlene's make.  It reminded me of the excitement and hope of warmer evenings and the colour explosion of flowers as they bloom.

Kati

I love it when my tulips start to bloom.  It's sign that they have made it through another tough season and are looking forward to the coming months, almost hopeful.  Kati's card made me reminded me of hope and sunshine - just beautiful.

Aimslee

Aimslee's beautiful card reminds me of looking out of my office window while working from home.  Aimslee has created a beautiful scene here.

Thank you to all of the Top 3 for cheering my February up.

Designer Special Mention:

Alice

Alice (ScrAPamondo) blew me away with this card.  Every time I look at it I see more detail.  It reminded me of Spring bursting into the season and the birds looking happy to see it and tweeting a sweet tune.  The detail is divine. I wanted to reach in and touch the card.  Thank you so much for the inspiration Alice.
