Memories of Childhood Beach Trips

For my second project I created a little panel using lolly pop sticks:

This reminded me of the beach trips to Barry Island when I was a child.  It was our nearest beach.  I have very find memories too - though I never met Nessa! lol!

Pop over to my blog to see more about this panel.

Thanks for joining me.

Happy crafting!

August 2020 - I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

Welcome to our August Challenge, chosen by the Lovely  Craftyfield

Welcome to our August challenge, which I am delighted to host!
I chose a theme close to my heart: the Seaside.
I want to see beaches, boats, ports, beach huts, deck chairs, bathers etc…
You can choose to illustrate underwater scenes too, but a single fish/seahorse/shell will not do...
If it needs an explanation...it doesn't fit the theme!!!

Come by my blog to read how I made my tag!

It really is the time of the year for us to all be thinking of the seaside and I am delighted that this is our theme for August. Even if beach holidays abroad have been cancelled, I hope you can still tiptoe through the sand and listen to the sea at some point this summer.
My seaside make today uses one of the backgrounds I shared on the shop blog some months ago using the new distress glazes on texture paste.
If you would like to see more of how I made this just swim  pop on over to my blog here where I will reveal all.
Have a wonderful summer and enjoy your holidays or should I stay staycation this year!
Stay safe,
Back on the 9th with my 2nd project,

Happy August.
Here is my first project for the challenge:

Pop over to my blog to see how I created this vintage memory themed card.
Happy crafting!
