January Winner, Top 3 & DTSM

Hello everybody! Here are our January Winners.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!

The January winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is

#38 Wendylynn's Paper Whims

Congratulations. Your voucher code & Winners badge will be with you shortly

Thanks so much for sharing all your sparkle and shine creations with us last month. We had some gorgeous entries and in no particular order my Top 3 are:

Sarascloset

What's not to love with all the different techniques and products used to create all the sparkly and shiny snow for that cute Snarkly cat to play in - perfect!

Sid

Welcoming in the New Year with all those glittery stars and embossed numbers made me smile! I love the way the stars were layered together and backed with black card for maximum sparkle and shine!

Vee

The sparkle and shine as the mirror card and gilt catches the light on this card looks amazing and matches the wizard image and magic birthday wording perfectly.

Finally my Special Mention goes to:

Marie Frayer

There is so much sparkle from the holographic card and combined with the shine from the Shimmer card panels and embossed penguin it turned out beautifully!

Thanks so much for playing along with us, I enjoyed seeing all your sparkle and shine makes and reading your posts. Hugs Jo x

Fantastic work all around!  Congratulations - your badges will be on their way soon, and we hope you'll display them with pride and don't forget to join us in our February Challenge xx

More hearts and flowers

Hello it's Jane here again with my 2nd DT make for the February hearts and flowers challenge which I am hosting. For this make I have used some products from the new Visible Image spring release which you can pre order now from the Country View website. It is released on the 11th Feb so you could be one of the first to own these awesome new products. I made a very spring themed thank you card, with lots of heart and flowers!

A step by step is over on my blog here if you would like to spring over and take a peep. Let's hope the spring bulbs will be raising their heads in our gardens very soon.
Bye for now,

February 2022 - Hearts AND Flowers

Welcome to our February Challenge. This month the theme is Hearts and Flowers and has been chosen by our lovely Jane. We hope you will enjoy joining us in this challenge and there is a £20 gift voucher for the winner

 Jane

I am delighted to be the host for this month's challenge. I chose the theme "Hearts and flowers". Please note the purposeful bold type...you need to include both on your make.

 I went with a heart die cut and 3 of my very favourite Visible Image flowers and made this birthday card;

I have a full step by step over on my blog here.
Even if I don't get the time to leave a comment on everyone's blogs I will be popping over to see all your lovely makes.  Please remember to follow our very few rules; You can only enter our challenges a maximum of 5 times in the month and in no more than 10 challenges (ours included). Sadly we are still having to delete a few entries every month who don't follow them.

Have a wonderful February and I will be back on Thursday (3rd) with my 2nd make.

Bye for now,

 Sue

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday. To celebrate the month of romance I've made an anniversary card using both hearts and flowers.

There are more photos here on my blog showing how this was made with a sheet of designer paper.

I hope your February is full of romance! Take care and thanks so much for looking x

Blow out the candles!

Hello it's Jane here today with my 2nd post.  I made a sparkly birthday card which I gave to my Hb yesterday on his birthday.

I would love you to come on over to my blog here and help blow out the candles. I have all the details of how I made it and some close ups where you can clearly see the sparkle (Stickles) on the icing and in the background (distress mica stains). We still have 10 days left of our January challenge. There are lots of sparkly entries already and we would love to see more!

Enjoy the rest of January,

Bye for now,

Jane x

Sparkle and shine can be interpreted many ways, and so for my second project this month I have made some very sparkly and shiny
Bows which act as book marks, and because I was on a roll I made some traditional book marks as well. As always all the details on my blog
