Good morning! Rachel here today - and with not long to go for you to enter our challenge you'll be glad its got to be made in 30 minutes or less! I've made a couple of cards but am only showing one here....
The two cards took just 25 minutes in total to make - to see the other card and hear what I did please pop over to my blog here.
I hope you will feel inspired enough to join us!!!
Hello All, Here is my second inspirational make for our February challenge: 30 MINUTES OR UNDER. Since Valentine's Day passed, now I'm preparing for the next festival, for Easter. If you want to know how I put this card together, please visit my blog.
This is a sad post for me today as I step down from the Design Team here at Country View Challenges. I have had a wonderful four years making all manner of projects and have worked alongside a wonderful team of amazingly creative people.
Rather than sharing a project today I thought I would share three of my favourite makes for CVC.
This was my very first project as Guest Designer in May 2013 for theHow Does Your Garden Grow Challenge. The following month I made my debut as part of the DT! The shadow box still sits on the shelf by my desk and brightens even the dullest of days!
Another project which also sits by my desk and is a great favourite - made for the Bugs, Bees and Butterflies challenge in November 2014.
And finally I don't know how many flowers I have made over the last four years but these are probably my favourites - blousy summer blooms made for the Summertime challenge in August 2015. Here's a link to the tutorial on my blog if you would like to have a go.
I shall certainly miss being here at CVC and seeing all your wonderful projects, but I am also looking forward to having some more time to experiment with new products and of course develop more flowers which I really love to make. I am sure I shall see you around somewhere in bogland!
A huge thank you to Susan and all the present (and past) Design Team members who have been so wonderful to work with.
Hello it's Jane here today sharing my second piece to hopefully inspire you to enter our time challenge this month; making something in 30 minutes or less. You still have a week to enter and join in with the fun. I chose to make a card again, using lots of scraps that I keep as left overs from other projects. The painted central mdf flower was even recycled from a previous project.
If you would like to see how I sourced my scraps and put this together...I even timed myself whilst making it....do pop over to my blog here where a time saving warm welcome awaits you. Get that stop watch out 😁
Here is my second piece for the 30 minute challenge. A card using gilding flakes and infusions. If you would like to find out more, then please visit my blog.
Hi Everyone, Brenda here with a card for a man that I really did manage to get finished within the 30 minutes deadline for this challenge.
Having boxes of bits of all sorts is really handy to have when you want to get something made pretty fast and getting a man's card done has got to be an achievement as we all find them difficult right?
So pop over to Bumblebees and Butterflies to see how this one came to fruition and how useful those discarded elements can be.
I am loving this 30 minute challenge this month! I am really thankful that I've not tidied my studio in yonks so I have so much to hand to play with so I've not had to waste time searching for anything!
For this page in my Dylusions Journal I used a similar technique as I did on my first project this month and expanded on it! To make sure I stayed within the time limit I stamped my chaps on book paper and resisted the urge to colour them in! That was a lot harder than I thought! The hats were Dylusion stamps - a combination of hats and bunting turned upside down! I timed myself and this page took me 29 minutes - phew! Just made it in time!
If you would like to see a step by step guide on how I made this then please pop over to my blog.
Hope you feel inspired to join in with us this month,

Oh my goodness 292 entries to look through and make decisions on who are to to be the Top 3 and the DT special mention. This was a hugely difficult job with so many entries so I gave myself some focus areas to help me narrow it down. I decided I wanted a mixed media piece as the special mention (just because that's what I love doing at the moment) and then for the top 3 I would look for something vintage, something made in what I call a journal style and then something I find hugely difficult to do which is the 'less is more' style.
I adore this vintage card where Nicola has used vintage patterned papers and then added just some subtle embellishments to add that special elegant yet vintage shabby appeal.
Even this proved difficult choosing a LIM card but I opted for Kathy's card not just for the fabulous simple design but also because she spends time stamping the back of the card, the inside and the envelope to make it very special for the recipient.

Hello crafters, this is Craftyfield, just in time for this inspiration post, in more ways than one...
Yes Sue's theme was a real challenge for me! But, if you need to make an unexpected Valentine card (you lucky thing!) you can use my card as inspiration, it will only take 30 minutes!
Come over to my blog to check how I cut corners saved time!
Enjoy your Sunday, keep on crafting and do enter our February challenge!
Good morning and happy Friday, the weekend starts here! I'm really happy to be sharing my second '30 minutes or under' piece and I have to say, I had minutes to spare. No cheats either, just a lovely technique that I learned over at the PaperArtsy blog a little while ago.
For more photographs please visit my blog Sue The Iron. Have a wonderful weekend, and in the words of Tess and Claudia, Keeeeeeep Crafting! Sue xx
Good Morning and hello February! I'm really happy to be hosting this month's challenge, and as usual I've made things really hard for myself, and chosen a 30 minutes or less time challenge.
I've used every cheat available including pre-embossed card and stamp and die sets.
More details can be found on my blog, Sue The Iron
Resisting the easy path of just one stamp in the middle of a base card, I spent my 30mns making sure there was colour in my card! Quick, yes, drab no...
Do come over to my blog to read my tactics when time is short.
Make something in 30 minutes or under ME??? I didn't think it could be done but yep this tag is what I made but I had to plan and get my self organised to get it done. I have it all recorded over at Bumblebees and Butterflies if you would like to see how I managed it. xxx
To make a quick card wasn't an easy task for me. But the embossing folder seemed a good choice to make a nice, eye-catching background fast. The other trick: follow one of your older design. That's what I did :-)
For the supply list, please hop on my blog. Thank you!
Hello and welcome to our new challenge - what can you come up with in 30 minutes? I look forward to seeing - this is my make for today - you can see more details over on my blog here!
To me February will always be the month of love. Not only is it Valentine's Day on the 14th but this day is also the anniversary of my own engagement to my Hb in 1980...eek..yes that long ago. I just had to make a Valentine card for my first inspirational piece for this challenge.
My card took under 30 minutes to put together...yes honestly....but I used lots of cheats! If you would like to see how I managed to achieve this do pop on over to my blog here where a warm welcome awaits you.
Although small you can still pack a lot into an ATC! To speed up my time I tore my papers and tissue tape and kept my background simple with stamping. If you would like to see more then please do hop on over to my blog.
I loved the challenge of making something in 30 minutes! I reached for things that were to hand rather than wasting valuable time searching for just the right stamp! It's a good job I've not been very tidy for a few weeks as there was lots of choices! I've popped a couple of mid-process photos on my blog if you'd like to see more! Gabrielle x
