October 2017 - Mixed Media with Autumnal Hues

Welcome everyone to our October Challenge.
Our theme this month is "Mixed Media with Autumnal Hues", chosen by the lovely Rachel

Good morning! I have chosen the theme of our new challenge to be mixed media and Autumnal hues.  Autumn is my favourite time of year and I would love to see you entering anything mixed media in autumnal colours - the topic is not Autumn ...but of course you can do anything based around autumn as long as the colours are right!!!! I do hope you can join us. If you want to know more about how I made my piece please check out my blog here.

Big hugs Rachel x

Brrrr Autumn has certainly arrived in my part of the word. But this does bring those lovely crisp mornings and beautiful coloured leaves that dogs love to play in, especially this one.
More details can be found here on my blog. Have a wonderful Autumn, and play in those leaves!

Autumn seems to have arrived in my corner of the world very quickly. I’m a real summer gal so the trees changing colour and the cooling weather always comes as quite a shock!

I wanted to make something to celebrate a colleague’s 39 years at my place of work (quite an incredible achievement!) and when I saw the new theme I knew I could combine the two!

I used a variety of yellows, oranges and browns to colour these new Dylusions flowers and arranged them on the tag with a die cut banner. Gabrielle x

Hello everyone,

For the new Mixed Media challenge set by the lovely Rachel I have an art journal page :

I enjoyed making this and if you'd like to see the process then hop over to my blog HERE or straight to YouTube. I will be back soon with more inspiration !

I love the colours of Autumn so used them on this this little Mixed Media notecard. All the details can be found
Over on my blog. Hope to see you there.
Hugs xx

October and autumn have arrived with a bang...or should I say with a bump in the night? For my mixed media card with autumnal hues I have a clue to what is on its way....
Yes it's the time of the year when things are starting to get a little chilling and mysterious over at my blog. I used several mixed media techniques on my card. If you would like to see my step by step click here where a very spooky warm welcome awaits.

Bye for now,

Jane x

Some die cutting from me this month with  Sara Davies' beautiful Autumnal Dies. For more details please pop over to my blog.

Hello everybody,
For our October challenge I created an autumnal tag.
Since this challenge is about mixed media, I used inks, acrylic paints, glossy medium, paper, fabric, cork sheet etc. But you can find the whole details over on my blog.

A seasonal theme chosen by my teammate and a fun one too... I took my paints, mediums and assorted bits & bobs to create this tag.

Great fun was had and I'm ready to do it all again later in the month...
Do check on my blog how my Mixed Media tag was made.

Rachel has chosen a fabulous topic this month, and just in time, as the leaves start to change colour.

This month I have created an autumnal themed card using paint, card stock and die-cutting.

Pop over to my blog to see how I created this card.

Happy crafting!

Although I love summer and the warm temperatures, autumn has it´s beautiful sides too. The colors of this season are spectacular. The glowing colors of the trees are wonderful.
I made a vintage card in fitting colors of autumn.
If you want to find out how I made it, please visit my blog.
