Good morning and a very happy Wednesday, welcome to December. The big Christmas countdown/rush/blind panic starts now, so I thought I'd better get started with my cards.

For my snowy night scene, I've used some of my newest and some of my oldest Tim Holtz dies and stamps, and more details can be found here on my blog. I'll see you later in the month with the daytime version (same but different lol).

Take care and have a very happy December x

Happy December everyone...my very favourite time of the year. I LOVE Christmas and everything about it. It has always been such a special time for me and my family. The Christmas music is on, mince pies are being made, decorations hung and presents being bought (no I'm not someone who has Christmas bought and wrapped by 1st December!) . The card I am sharing today is one I have made for my  family using Tim's stamps and dies. He really knows how to do a vintage Christmas.

This sweet snarky cat is so much like our Billy cat. He managed to grab star from the moonlit sky to wish you all a very Happy Christmas, in his own shy way. Do hop over to my blog here if you would like to see how I made it and perhaps share a glass of virtual mulled wine? Have the best time and I will be back on the 19th with my second Christmas make.

 Jo

Hi everyone! As I love all things Christmas, I created this Yule Tide page to celebrate and wish you a Happy December and all the very best for the festive season!

More drink gifting for Christmas

Hello it's Jane here this morning with some more Christmas gifting inspiration for our November challenge. For my first project I made a gin gift tag, today it is the turn of wine, red wine to be precise.

I use these handmade gift tags to make my drink based Christmas gifts more personal. They are always well received and you don't even need to gift wrap the bottle, just hang it around the neck!

If you would like to see how I made it pop on over to my blog here where all is revealed. I might even have a spare glass for you...no to be truthful I'm not a wine drinker. It's beer, gin or champagne in our house.

Cheers!

Bye for now,

Jane x

October Winner, DTSM & Top 3

Hello everybody! Here are our October Winners.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!

The October winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is

#102 Handmade by Mesi

 Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you so much for all your fabulous entries for my 'autumnal colours/Halloween' Challenge this month! There were so many which made my job of choosing the winners super difficult. I have managed to choose my Top 3 and the DTSM though, so here goes:

#1 - entry no #22 by Izzy Scrap

https://www.izzyscrap.com/2021/10/02/less-is-more-453-purple-yellow/

I love a CAS card, probably because I am not very good at making them. This one is fabulous; I love the colours and the composition.

#2 - entry #129 by Sara Emily

I simply adore this card. I love the colour combination and the details of the string and the collaged focal point ! Wonderful!

#3 - entry # 176 by Mac

I love the autumnal leaves with the gold embossing powder. I also like the composition. Great card!

And then lastly the Design Team Special Mention:

entry #107 - by Tracey

https://hotchpotchcreations.blogspot.com/2021/10/hello-pumpkin.html

I totally love this art journal page. Firstly because I love art journaling myself and I also love the way the pumpkin is so much in the foreground and this makes it extra spooky and interesting.

Love it! Well done.

Thank you all again! It was fantastic to see so many entries!

Fantastic work all around!  Congratulations - your badges will be on their way soon, and we hope you'll display them with pride and don't forget to join us in our November Challenge xx

Here is my first project:

Sue

Good morning and a very happy Monday! Well, Christmas is getting ever nearer, and all gifts need a bag to go in, so that is what I've made using products by Lisa Horton.

There are more photos here on my blog if you would like to take a look.

Take care and have a wonderful November x

Jo

Hi everyone! I can't believe that Christmas is nearly here so it was nice to get a head start making these fun Snowman Tags for this years Christmas presents.

I used the Mr. Frost Sizzix Thinlits set by Tim Holtz and the sentiment was from the Sketch Greenery Stamp Set by Tim Holtz; to see how they came together please pop over to my blog Let's Art Journal. x

Hello everyone, I've some ideas for adding something special to your Christmas tags and wrapping
this year. All the details as always on my blog.

Corrie

Hello everyone,

For this months challenge I have made some gift tags and I have to confess that it was a struggle as I am not a fan of Christmas. Anyway I managed to get something made ! lol

Hello everyone, for our November challenge I created a
Christmas decoration  which can be a perfect gift for someone.
If you like my vintage pocket watch ornament
please hop on my blog where you can find a tutorial and many photos.

Have a happy November!

Jane

For our Christmas gifting challenge I made a gift tag to attach to a bottle of gin. It really does make your  Christmas gift so personal and this sentiment is such fun. There is no need for wrapping paper either!

I am a huge fan of gin and this new stamp set from Visible Image works perfectly with their existing Christmas stamps. Pop on over to my blog here to see how I made it...and perhaps have a glass of gin while your are there...or is it too early?!? You will be able to see my tag hanging from the neck of my favourite brand. Happy November everyone, the countdown to Christmas has begun.

I am back on the 19th with another drinks based tag idea for your Christmas gifting.

Bye for now,

Jane x

  Rachel

I had fun stamping up some brown paper to use as gift wrap for a very special person this year! I just know my sister in law loves sprouts!!!
