Hello everyone, Debs here with my top 3 and DTSM, which all show monochromatic in all its glory, and follow the simple rule of using only 1 colour.
First
Alice - entry number 39 - a fabulous take on the theme, which shows real skill in the stamping of the lighter background and going darker for the foreground. Great use of composition too.
Second
Chrissy - entry number 17 - I love the simplicity of this card, which is hard to achieve , well it is for me lol. A really lovely card!
Third
Ionabunny - entry 19 - a truly monochromatic card with luscious hues of blue. I love the combination of the embossing folder
with the stamping both in the background and as a focal point.
Lastly the Design Team special mention
Mac - entry number 43- this really caught my eye. I can see lots of skills and techniques went into the making of this card
which, is clean and simple in design, but not simple to achieve. Starting with the fabulous composition, it is beautifully stamped and I love all the shimmer on the leaves
and flower, really loved it, as I’m sure did the recipient.
Well done to all who entered and a special thank you to my top three and Design Team special mention.
Hugs

We had lots of beautiful entries for the September challenge I hosted. I really did enjoy seeing all your leaf themed projects. As always to choose a Top 3 and a special mention is tough but after a lot of deliberation, here they are in order of their entry.
Number 14 Emma
The unusual oxides Emma chose to stencil and to colour her leaves with made for such a delightful card.
I am a sucker for wreath type projects and the one Mac Mabel made using her wonderful leaves is so beautiful, topped off by some gorgeous acorns too.
I do love all things Tim Holtz and Sid created a beautiful tag using Tim's leaf dies. He added them to a water coloured background, so lovely.
and last but by no means least is my Design team special mention. This goes to
Jane used lots of leaves and ephemera to create a gorgeous junk journal. Do check it out. Jane is a brand new blogger, which these days is a rare delight so give her some newbie love too.
Thanks everyone for sharing all your lovely makes and entering the challenge. Enjoy the autumn and keep crafting.
Hugs,
Jane x
