Hello everyone !

Thank you all for taking part in our January Challenge which was all about squares! There were some great entries and I had a tough task choosing the top 3 and special mention. I looked at all the projects again today and here are my choices, top 3 first, in no particular order:

#31- Melanie H. from www.cardsbymelanie.com

I really like the muted colours on this card and the gingham background makes perfect squares!

#53 - Pearshapedcris from www.pearshapedcrafting.blogspot.com

Great square focal point and background and I love the colours used. Yellow, blue and greens are my go to shades too!

#24 - Maria F. from www.rieslingmama.blogspot.com

I really admire these pop-up cards, I wouldn't know where to start! This one is fabulous and colourful, it would cheer anyone up!

My special mention is for:

#10 - Granne from www.aavamaki.blogspot.com

I love this card, the design and colours are great and it is a great recycling project !

That's it ! Thanks again for all your lovely projects. I hope you enjoyed my challenge and will continue playing in the coming months!

Fantastic work all around!  Congratulations - your badges will be on their way soon, and we hope you'll display them with pride and don't forget to join us in our March Challenge which starts tomorrow. xx

Signs of nest building

Good morning it's Jane here today . I have made another "first signs of spring" tag to hopefully inspire you to join our current challenge. There will be lots of nest building going on around here in the next few weeks so I thought I would make a birds' nest tag.

And yes there are even eggs in there! If you would like to see how I made the paint resist background and hatched the plan for the eggs, just  fly over pop on over to my blog here where all is revealed.

Bye for now,

February 2021 - First Signs Of Spring

Welcome to our February Challenge. This month's theme was chosen by the Lovely Miriam. We are also excited to have a new Design Team Member join us too and we will officially introduce her later in the month

Happy February.

I am lucky enough to choose the theme for this month.  for a lot of people the start of the year has been tricky - the pandemic still control a lot of our day to day, it has been winter and the nights are still dark.  So, I wanted my theme to lift the spirits a little.  That made me think of hope and new beginning and then I thought of Spring.

So my theme is that, first signs of Spring.  Here is my first project for the month

I used lots of my favourite products and mediums on this card.  Pop over to my blog to see what I used in this project.

So there you go - I really hope to see you join in with the challenge.  I hope to see lots of Spring themed projects.

Happy crafting!

Miriam

 Jane

January is finally behind us.  Our February "first signs of spring" challenge is very apt for us to all stay positive and look forward to brighter, lighter days. I decided to make tags for this challenge. Here is my first one.

The birds will soon start looking for their mates and building their nests, such a wonderful sign that spring is on its way. If you would like to see how I made this and take a peep at the background before it all got covered up just fly pop on over to my blog where all is revealed.

Hello crafty friends,
for our February challenge, First signs of Spring I created a card with a blue bird and a wreath. For this card, I used Tim Holtz's products and if you like it, please hop on my blog for more info.

 Sue

Good morning and a very happy Monday. I'm certainly looking forward to Spring, I'm missing the sunshine and being able to sit outdoors. I had to do some serious research before I could make my card, 'cos I'd forgotten how to make an easel card!

There are more photo's on my blog here if you would like to take a look. Take care and have a very happy month x
