here we have some wonderful summer days with sunshine and heat, so I made an Art Journal page with a lot of butterflies and called it Butterfly kisses.
Good morning and happy Monday. It's Sue here with my second piece for Teresa's fun challenge, and this time I've made a triptych.
I've used some of my favourite Tim Holtz stamps (you are all my favourites, don't worry my pretties) and Bigz and Scoreboard dies so this project stands up for itself!
There are more photographs here over on my blog, so I hope to see you over there.
Have a lovely day, and thanks very much for looking x
Hello everybody! It's time to announce the May Challenge Be Humorous winners. There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme. So here are the May winner of our Challenge, Top Three and Design Team Member Special Mention. Are you sitting comfortably? Then let's begin!

May winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is...
Sarah (aka Crafty Rat who didn't use rats for her project not like her namesake) was the last one who entered our challenge. How fortunate we are that she was playing along with us! The text that she used was a very popular one from Dyan Raeveley but the background she created was very unique and artsy!
Amanda added - what else? - a Katzelcraft stamp to the Tim Holtz stamps.
On Amanda's card, we can see an equilibrist performance. This stupid duck thinks he can walk along on a rope at great height, so he's trying to tiptoe and of course, he has a funny face!
And again, thank you so much for participating in our challenge!
Hello it's Jane here today with my 2nd inspiration project for our "Written word" June challenge. Father's day in the UK this year falls on Sunday 17th June so I thought I would share an idea for a card for your Dad's.
I used the fab Visible Image Father definition stamp with a fun Tim Holtz Paper doll. I have a step by step of how I created the inky background over on my blog here. It is all stamps...no flicking ink needed!
Today I am sharing with you my second project for the fabulous "The Written Word" theme this month. You really are in for a treat with the Design Team inspiration this month.
Here is my finished project
Pop over to my blog to see how I created this card and more detailed pictures of the background.
If you haven't already, there is plenty of time to join in with this month's challenge and be in with a chance to be picked at random to win a gift voucher to spend in the Country View Crafts shop.
Hello and welcome to a new challenge. This month it is my turn to pick the theme and I have chosen The Written Word. Printed text, stamped text, stencilled text, handwritten text - there are so many ways to incorporate writing into your art, so let's see what you come up with!
You can find out how I created this journal page over on my blog, so please pop over and take a closer look.
Good morning, happy Friday, and welcome to June! Teresa's challenge really got me thinking, and this is what I came up with.
I've used lots of lovely AALL and Create stamps and stencils, but look, there's white space too! There are more photographs here over on my blog. Enjoy the Summer, and thanks very much for looking x

Hello everyone, and happy June to you all. Teresa wants us to use 'the written word' for this month's challenge so I have come up with this :
Now, if you want to know how I made this then hop over to my YouTube Channel
Hi there! I do hope you can join our challenge on the written word - such a fabulous topic and so many ways to use words! You can find details of my card here.
The longest day and the first day of summer is just 21 days away so I decided to make something very sunny for "The written word", our June challenge theme.
I chose some very sunny distress oxides to make the background for my sentiment stamp to shout out from and say hello to a (hopefully) sunshine filled June. All the details of how I made this are over on my blog here. A very warm and sunny welcome awaits you.
Here is my tag for our June challenge, called the "Written Words".
Yes, I know, I didn't put too many words on my tag
yet I tried to place my simple but meaningful text to a pivotal position.
If you want to know how I made my steampunk tag, please visit my blog.
Thank you!
Miriam
I was excited by the theme for this month. I love quotes and text stamps and so the possibilities are endless. Here is my first project for the challenge.
Pop over to my blog where you will see how I created this card. Make sure you look at the amazing inspiration from the design team this month - I can't wait to see what you all create for the challenge ourselves.
The Written Word - what a wonderful theme this month! What can be used better to express something than words!
I made this wall hanging for a friend. If you want to see some steps on how I have put this grungy piece together, please hop to my blog. Many details awaits you!
Thank you and have a nice day.
I love using scripts stamps, paper, stencils etc... to build up backgrounds. But the written word doesn't need to be Mixed Media it can be Clean and Simple too...
Come over to my blog, I've written all the words you need to make this card!
Hello everyone, what a fantastic theme we have this month, words can mean so much can’t they?
Why not pop on over to my blog to see how I created this little tag?
Hugs xx
