Welcome to our first Challenge of 2022. This month the theme is Your Year To Sparkle & shine (lots of sparkle media, bling new year etc) and has been chosen by our lovely Jo. We hope you will enjoy joining us in this challenge and there is a £20 gift voucher for the winner
Happy New Year everyone, it's Jo here. I'm delighted to be hosting this month's challenge and to welcome 2022 I have chosen the theme A Year to Sparkle & Shine.
We would like to see LOTS of sparkle and shine on your projects, no "token" gems or sequins please; you really need to sprinkle that sparkle! This means that you can use lots of different sparkly and shiny products (like metallics, sparkly embossing powders, glitters, lustres, foil, glazes, mirror cardstock, mica sprays or paints etc) as part of your designs.
I look forward to seeing what you make and you never know, you might even win a £20 voucher for the shop! Before you enter your project though, please read the Rules!
Happy new year everyone. For this very sparkly first challenge of 2022 I decided to make a New Year card with lots of bling!
I used embossing glitters, sparkly Visible Image stamps, gold card, glitter pen and Tim Holtz ' fab distress mica stain sprays. You need sun glasses with this one!
If you would like to see how it all came together take a leap over to my blog here.
Have a fabulous year ahead,
Good morning and a very Happy New Year!
I'm hoping that 2022 is going to be kind to us all, and to celebrate this year I've made a sparkly journal page.
Take care and have a wonderful 2022! x
Hop over to my blog for the details of this card and a bonus make!
Don't be scared, I have kept the glittery stuff to the minimum...
Monika
For our January challenge
I made a background with Sparkle stamp and used glitter paper for the big number.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Great work from the DT. Vee xx
ReplyDeleteHi … just looking at the linky and see one of my entries has disappeared … this is an issue I have had with several cards lately. I don’t want to delink in case it means I can’t enter another card (the entry that has gone missing was my third, and I have already posted a 4th and have a 5th in progress). The card that went missing is here https://passionforpapercraft.blogspot.com/2022/01/echinacea-and-moth.html and looking at your linky must have been either entry #25, 26 or 27. Can you please confirm whether I should relink Ie will I still ba able to post my 5th entry?
ReplyDeletePauline x
Hi Pauline, sorry for the delay in replying, Susan is having constant internet blackouts but this is what she wanted to reply:
Delete"Pauline, there are no problems with Inlinkz, which means your entry has been removed by the DT. Be assured, we do not take the decision to remove entries lightly but we have to be fair for all the other entrants. If the DT deleted this one, it will be because it did not follow either the theme or the rules (or even both). If after reading the theme, as described in this post, and the general rules you still think that your entry was valid let us know by using the Contact Us button on the right hand side of our blog."
Very beautiful examples DT. Thank you for the inspiration. TFS
ReplyDeleteAlways so inspirational and thank you x.
